Where it began...
March 2021 - the start of a difficult yet victorious journey
It was the year 2021, March to be exact, where the tables of my life were turned and as I jokingly mentioned that I’ve received the ‘joker card’. Not as in winning, but was I handed three Covid’s and a journey that would have changed me and impacting others in a good way… later. After getting Covid for the first time in January, I had some concerning side-effects which I brushed off as minor comparing to what others have experienced. Little did I know of the uninvited guest in my one heart chamber. One person is ‘chosen’ every four years to carry this. The growth was identified as Large B-cell Lymphoma and because of being in my heart did I had a 5% change to survive according to medics.

My spirit was at the right place and I was able to follow the Good Shepherd though that valley of darkness and having no fear. I was closely monitored by the physician, oncologist and cardiologist during my ten days in ICU. Family was even permitted to pay me visits in that time. My eyes were focused on the One who made the stars and could I feel the numerous prayers strengthening me as they gone up like a lovely fragrant incense. During my immensely aching and painful body due to the red chemo was there a fire inside prompting me to stretch out to what lies ahead. Something was pulling me, breathing through my being and I started the process of requesting the design and registering of Wound Warrior’s trademark. I envisioned the name and the logo without much effort and it is in line of what we have to offer but also in line of my character and the many deep waters I came through. Not by might nor by power but by His Spirit pulling me through!

I initially started off in June 2021 by creating only Wound Warrior Original ointment – granny’s beeswax Voortrekker recipe, but due to it being a harder substance I was asked by clients in June 2022 to formulate softer versions. Wound Warrior Youth and – Soft then saw the light. All three variants can be applied to numerous wounds and skin conditions and it built an amazing reputation already in a short period of time. You can view the before and after images in our gallery as proof.
Our All About Hair highly effective scalp spray was first created at the end of 2021 to be used on my own bald head due to chemo. It was a good test for me to see its effectiveness and I decided to make this amazing product available for purchase. The four-ingredient-mixture works nicely together and can be used without effort on a daily basis without making your hair oily. The label’s image is both before and after photos of myself – I never thought I would be ‘on a bottle’!
Phyto-Unique Becomes Available for Purchase
2022
I started using Phyto-Unique in 2021 to relief my aching cancerous body. Due to it being part of my Saturday’s testimony table at Lavender Kontrei Market (LKM), this great product was also made available for purchase since 2022 to relieve numerous aches and pains. You have to feel it to believe it!
